Marri blames Pakistani military regime for plundering Baloch resources in the name of mega projects

PRESS RELEASE:

KALAT, Balochistan – “The Baloch resistance movement has never harmed innocent citizens, and the Baloch freedom fighters are on a direct warpath against the Pakistani military regime,” said Nawabzada Mir Balaach Marri.

He added, “The Baloch War of Independence is succeeding, and unfortunately the military dictatorship of General Pervez Musharraf has stooped so low that they are now using cruel tactics to quell this movement. But, we want to assure that such dirty tactics are not making any difference for the movement.”

Marri said, “Baloch children, women, and elders are being harassed since the occupation of Balochistan. I say to the Baloch nation not to play the role of a helpless spectator and watch our children, youth and intellectual get kidnapped by the intelligence agencies.”

He blamed that the Pakistani government is continuing with the loot and plunder spree of the resources of occupied Balochistan in the name of mega projects, and he warned that it would lead to a full-scale war.

Marri contradicted the official stance that the Balochistan crisis is caused by three Baloch tribal chieftains. He alleged that the military operation in occupied Balochistan is launched to protect the business interests of the Chaudhris of Punjab in usurping the natural resources of Balochistan. He criticized that the military for launching offensives in the name of terrorism and/or Islam against the non-combatant Baloch nationals. But, he assured that it is not the tribal chiefs of Balochistan that are causing the instability in Pakistan, but the military’s role to safeguard the interests of the Chaudhris.

He assured that the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) is only involved in guerilla warfare and not terrorism. And, any acts of terrorism are the works of the Pakistani intelligence agencies as BLA has made it clear that it was not involved in these incidents.
