Pakistani Senator brings bin Laden's message to sleeper cells in the US

PRESS RELEASE:

WASHINGTON D.C. -- World Baloch Jewish Alliance convener and journalist Ahmar Mustikhan has written to the U.S. State Department expressing his fears that a radical Islamist Pakistani senator during his recent visit might have brought bin Laden’s message for al Qaeda sleeper cells in the U.S.

In a missive to the Pakistan desk of the U.S. State Department, copies of which were sent to Marvin Weinbaum of the Middle East Institute and Selig Harrison, Asia director of the Center for International Policy, Mustikhan called for a probe into the tour of the fundamentalist leader.

Following is the full text of Mustikhan’s letter:

I want to bring to your kind notice my grave concern over the recent U.S. visit of a politician belonging to a fundamentalist Islamist party, closely allied with the Al Qaeda.

I am urging you to ask the relevant security agencies to launch a probe into Jamiat Ulema Islam Senator Islami Ismail Buledi tour of a number of U.S. cities to ascertain if he might have brought bin Laden’s secret message for Al Qaeda sleeper cells. My fears might be farfetched, but in a post-911world it’s better to be safe than sorry.

As far as I know, the Islamist Pakistani senator visited New York twice, Washington DC, Miami, Houston and Seattle.

The visit is all the more deplorable as it followed the cancelled visit of secular, liberal and nationalist Baloch Senator Sanaullah Baloch, whose visit visa was cancelled on Islamabad’s behest.

My fears are not entirely unfounded as at least two of the terrorists, Ramzi Yusef and Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, who were involved in WTC bombing in 1992 and 911 attacks in 2001, respectively, were Al Qaeda members with extensive links with the Jamiat Ulema Islam. The J.U.I. has been trying all along to recruit militants to wage jihad against the U.S. I suspect Senator Buledi has blood ties with Ramzi Yusef and Khalid Shaikh Mohammed.

The Baloch people of the stateless Balochistan region, divided among Iran , Pakistan and Afghanistan , have once again been up in arms in Pakistan against the illegal occupation of their homeland immediately after the partition of India by the British in 1947. This is the fifth Baloch insurrection in Pakistan ’s 59 years.

Some of Balochistan’s most respected leaders, including the Baloch triumvirate Sardar Ataullah Mengal, Nawab Akbar Bugti and Nawab Khair Bakhsh Marri are facing the worst forms of atrocities as I write these lines. This includes the killing of sons of Sardar Mengal and Nawab Bugti by Pakistani intelligence and framing of a false murder case against Nawab Marri and his sons.

For the overwhelming majority of Baloch people becoming part of Pakistan was never an option, as they wanted their homeland either to be free or a part of the federation of India . The people of Balochistan unanimously decided against any merger with Pakistan as historic records of the resolutions passed by the lower and upper house of the traditional Baloch bicameral parliament in 1947 would show.

To counter the nationalist forces, the Pakistani establishment has been promoting Islamic radical parties such as the Jamiat Ulema Islam in the length and breadth of Balochistan through secret funding from the Inter Services Intelligence (I.S.I.).

Why this has relevance to the U.S. is that I am convinced the I.S.I. had a role in the 911 attacks as many published reports suggest.

In Buledi’s specific case, he was engaging the same kind of activities Al Qaeda terrorists were engaged in on the eve of the 911 attacks. The Pakistani senator visited a brothel in Houston and had sex with a Chinese prostitute.

I also urge you to please stop all economic, financial and military aid to Pakistan until it stops its military operation against Baloch nationalists, stops supporting Islamic fundamentalist parties and hands over bin Laden, Ayman Al-Zwahiri and founder of Islamic Bomb Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan to the U.S. Specifically, the Pakistan army is unwilling to handover Khan as they fear he would spill the beans about the role of the Pakistan generals in nuclear proliferation.

To let you know about my background, I am a reporter now working for a U.S. newspaper and am the convener of the World Baloch Jewish Alliance. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at xxx-xxx-xxxx or e-mail me at ahmar_scribe@yahoo.com.

  • dear general secretary,
the official stance taken by the GOB in exile is exposing the enemies of baloch nation and as such deserved to be appreciated.
your response to different bloggers is also factual and to the point.
i also agree that now we dont have to demand provincial autonomy within pakistan but an independent baloch state in the region.
i cancelled my trip for the time being and i am resuming work again.

  • Dear Miran,

Total autonomy is the only solution to resolve the grievances of the Baloch nation and to end the Baloch Holocaust. Balochistan was illegally occupied, and for the Baloch nation to decide between remaining under slavery or to be free does not require any referendum. It is the natural right of every Baloch as a human being and as a nation to have an independent country.

The Government of Balochistan in Exile’s mission is to liberate Balochistan from the occupation forces of the Islamic Republics of Iran and Pakistan. We can either accomplish our mission through dialogue or through the barrel of a gun. But, since 1928 in Iran and 1948 in Pakistan, we tried to resolve the illegal occupation of Balochistan through dialogue, but unfortunately, all avenues for a resolution were shunned by the occupation forces. Therefore, now it’s war and we’ll fight until we succeed in our mission.
